Sometimes, we can be afraid to take up space. It can't be uncomfortable to take up space with our voice. It can be uncomfortable to take up space with our bodies.
We all have the right to exist and take up space in the world without feeling guilty or ashamed. We have inherent value as human beings and we all deserve to be seen and heard.

What thoughts or feelings come up for me when I think about taking up space in my body and in the world around me?
What are some situations in which I feel comfortable using my voice? What factors contribute to this comfort?
What are some situations in which I feel uncomfortable using my voice? What factors contribute to this discomfort?
Now imagine that you go into one of these uncomfortable situations using your voice. Reflect on how it feels to use your voice in this way and what impact it could have on your life. What can you learn from this exercise that you can apply to real-life situations? How can you use your voice more effectively to take up the space you deserve?
